GRONOPHYLLUM PINANGOIDES

This is a striking small understory palm from the rainforests of north western New Guinea. It’s a small clumping palm with triangular ruffled leaves, and the new leaves are a very attractive pink/red colour.

It thrives in a sheltered, shady and warm spot in the garden and makes an excellent pot/house/patio plant in a spot with filtered sunlight with protection from cold weather.
